365 Thank Yous: The Year a Simple Act of Daily Gratitude Changed My Life

365 Thank Yous: The Year a Simple Act of Daily Gratitude Changed My Life - John Kralik This book sounded very intriguing and a real change from the selfishness most of us feel we are surrounded by on a daily basis. However, when I received this from the Early Reviewers program, I thought the book would a quick read because of the slim size. However, it took me a couple of days to read because I simply couldn't seem to sympathize with the author and this hinder me from enjoying the book.[return][return]Some of the ideas in the book-expressing our gratitude, taking time to recognize the good things in life, looking for our blessings-are ones that should be incorporated in our lives. This book serves as a nice reminder to ask ourselves if we are indeed living our lives to the fullest.[return][return]However, I found Mr Kralik to be an author I wasn't crazy about spending time with. He comes across at times as selfish, irritable, and grumpy. Reading this book, I couldn't help but wonder if some sort of belief system wouldn't do him a world of good. [return][return]I won't be recommending this book to the readers in my life.
