Race for the Dying
I am a fan of Havill's New Mexico series and was eager to get my hands on this stand-alone novel. A bright, young physician goes to live with a family friend, also a doctor, in Port McKinley, Washington. After an accident nearly kills him he becomes the doctors patient and gets a good view of whats going on personally and professionally with the good doctor. Definitely recommended for everyone as this was a really good book :)
