For those who enjoy Harry Potter and Percy Jackson, the premise here is nothing new. Chima's world is of high school boy who discovers he's one of the last warriors. What takes place is nothing new on an old storyline, however this is fun and enjoyable. I think middle school boys would enjoy this more than perhaps I as it gives them hope and a wish that maybe it's not that they are different but they too are wizard and warrior heirs. A solid read, however I will be taking some time before picking up the sequel in this trilogy.
