Desert Reckoning: A Town Sheriff, a Mojave Hermit, and the Biggest Manhunt in Modern California History
Having a hard time reviewing this-on one hand this was an interesting story of the Mojave desert in LA County. On the other hand, this felt like a badly fleshed out magazine article. A lot of speculation, Sorensen's wife didn't give interviews apparently for the book and we just don't know enough about Keuck's last weeks and days to really say what happen.Overall, I would almost recommend it for the amount of California history but not as a crime book.
